Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Melendez joined our team in 2024 after moving from Mexico City, where she earned her degree in veterinary medicine. Since then, she has been working hard toward becoming a licensed DVM in the United States—and we’re proud to share that she recently passed her boards! She will begin seeing patients in July 2025.
Dr. Melendez has a deep passion for animal health and a strong connection with animals, which drives her commitment to continuous learning and providing the best care possible. Since moving to the U.S., she’s embraced every new experience—from learning how to pump gas to figuring out how to defrost a windshield during the winter. Outside of work, she loves exploring the outdoors, running, going to the movies, and finding new places to eat. And if shopping’s on the table, count her in—she’ll never turn down a good shopping trip!
Dr. Melendez is not only incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated, but she’s also one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. We’re so happy to have her as part of our team.
