Meet Our Support Team

Courtney is our office manager here at Advanced Pet Care Clinic. She is a Cedar Falls native, growing up the oldest of five girls and one brother. She lives at her family farmhouse South of Cedar Falls, with her husband Kris, their Rough Collie, Gentry, and their two cats, Merlin and Lenox.

Desi moved to CF about 2 years ago. Since then, she has grown her fur-baby family up to 2 cats, Harlow and Layne, and her dog named Rip.

Olivia is from Holland, IA. She studied Zoology and Animal Behavior in Florida. Currently is now attending UNI. She has two cats and a rabbit. In her spare time enjoys kayaking, hiking, crocheting, and bonfires.

Katie was born in Waterloo, IA and moved to Duluth, MN, with her family. There she graduated and moved back to Cedar Falls to be close to extended family. She graduated with her degree in Animal Health and Behavior in 2021. Most of her animal experiences are in pet boarding.

Alicia grew up in Clutier, IA, her and her boyfriend Dustin and his daughter, Kaydin, live in the country and love the farm life. They have 1 horse, 3 goats, 3 cats, and 4 dogs, Tuff, Moose, Forest, and Bear. She attended Hawkeye Community College for Animal Science/Veterinary Assisting in 2016.

Taylor grew up in Aplington, IA, and attended Hawkeye Community College where she earned a degree in Veterinary Assisting in 2021. She has 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 bunnies, and 3 bearded dragons. In her free time, she likes to hang out and relax with her family.

Makyla grew up in Summer, IA, and attended Hawkeye Community College where she earned a degree in Vet Assisting in 2018. She also attended NICC and was in the large animal veterinary technician program. She married her husband, Mitchell, in May of 2021. She has 3 cats, 2 dogs, and a chinchilla.

Emily grew up in the Cedar Valley, she lives in Waterloo with her son Aiden, & a plethora of critters! She has 5 dogs, Watson, Hunter, Boots, Ruby, and Sal. Emily also has a cat named Cas.

Jazzy is a passionate horse enthusiast with a deep love for working with these magnificent animals. When she's not at the barn, she enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it's camping under the stars or exploring new trails.

Samantha graduated with a Veterinary Assisting Degree from Hawkeye Community College in 2006 while working at a local vet clinic. She worked there for three years assisting the veterinarians and as the supervisor of the kennel staff. She then went on to work at Pet Smart in January of 2008.

Amber is from Illinois and moved to Iowa in 2017. She has 2 children, her son is 12 and her daughter is 11. They have 1 dog, a Lab named Lightning, 2 cats named Spot & Domino & 4 chickens. She loves every animal but her favorite is a mini hiefer. She dreams of owning one, one day.

Ashlyn moved to Cedar Falls from Texas in 2020 and spent her time here first becoming an Esthetician. While that was fun for a while, she decided she was ready to move on to a profession she was more passionate about – animals! She loves dogs, cats, reptiles, small pets, you name it.
