Mikaela is originally from Oklahoma. She earned her degree in Animal and Food Science from Oklahoma State University. Her passion for animal care began early, working on a cattle ranch during high school, and she has continued to build on that foundation through years of hands-on experience.
Mikaela relocated to Cedar Falls with her husband, who coaches football at UNI. They share their home with their two Australian Shepherds, Callie and Koe. Mikaela is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and brings strong leadership and experience to her role.
